SEH French appoint new Contracts Director

SEH French are pleased to announce the appointment of our new Contracts Director, Simon Hubert.

Simon has worked with us for the past 16 years, most recently as our Contracts Manager, with his many accomplishments including working on SEH French’s biggest project to date.

He said he is excited to take on his new role as we look ahead to future growth.

“We have had a really positive couple of years and the company has seen strong, stable growth over that time, which is fantastic,” he said. “It’s a really exciting time.

“I’m an ambitious person and want to drive the company’s ambitions too.”

Simon started his career at another local construction firm as a quantity surveyor, moving to SEH French in 2009. He was made our Contracts Manager in 2014.

He said: “During my time as Contracts Manager I worked on our biggest project to date, a new production facility with offices for a company called Natures Menu – a £13.5m project.

“That was an amazing project and the most challenging I have worked on.

“My new role will still centre on contract delivery but will see me take more of a role in managing our staff and ensuring everything runs smoothly.

“I have worked closely with our directors Paul Rodwell and Simon Girling and have learned a huge amount from them – I can’t thank them enough for their support.

“We have had some great recruitment over the last few years and have really strengthened our skills and ability to deliver big projects.

“But we need to take a balanced approach as we continue to develop, making sure we grow in a responsible and sustainable way.”

Our Director, Simon Girling, said: “We are delighted to appoint Simon to his new position.

“He has a proven track record of delivering high quality projects and is the perfect person to take on this important role.”
